The first is a bleach solution, mix one cup of bleach for every gallon of water. This powerful oxidizing agent will take away the color of the mold and does a decent job at removal. One of the better ways to get rid of mold is with vinegar. This acidic solution is non-toxic, and unlike bleach eliminates mold about 80% of the time! This common household product does a bang-up job and will handle most of your needs. If you want to go all out with your assault on the mold use a borax solution of one cup borax to one-gallon warm water. This more toxic solution not only eliminates mold but prohibits future growth!
