What is the Smart Vent?

The Smart Vent is a line of ICC-ES Certified, Engineered Flood Vents that protect houses and buildings during floods. Flood Vents do this by preventing hydrostatic pressure buildup that can destroy walls and foundations. In other words, we make sure that when there is a flood that water isn’t gathering and pushing against the walls of your home which can lead to damage. This mitigation technique, referred to as Wet Floodproofing, allows floodwater to freely flow through an enclosure such as a crawlspace or garage. By allowing the water to flow freely we stop resistance from building up and putting stress on your house.
